Yong Chu Seeney

Yong Chu Seeney of Hinesville, Georgia passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 3, 2024 after a long battle with kidney disease.

Yong Chu was born on July 16, 1960 in Seoul, Korea. In 1986, Yong Chu met her husband Richard G. Seeney in Munson, Korea and went on to have 2 daughters, Jennifer Reynolds and Nicole ORourke. Yong Chu is survived by her siblings, Mok Kim, Soon Kim, Jun Kim and family in Korea; her husband, Richard; daughters, Jennifer (Jeremy Reynolds) and Nicky (Kyle ORourke); grandson, Parker Morse; and her beloved cat, Santi.

Services will be held at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville. Flowers are appreciated as well as contributions to the family through Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home.

Visitation services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Hinesville Cemetery.
